This site gets a lot of traffic about drivers for the Avid FastTrack Pro on Mac. This is because I once wrote a post about the driver, only to discover that in Mac Mavericks it worked without updating the driver when using GarageBand.

So no surprise that when using my (nearly vintage) M-Audio FastTrack Pro on Yosemite OS 10.10 on Mac with GarageBand, it just works. No driver download needed.
However, I think there probably is a real issue with driver updates for other software. So if you’re not using GarageBand, the debate continues here:
